VIEW THE PROGRAM FOR THE DAY

For a second year running, AustCyber has partnered with the Australian Federal Police’s National Missing Persons Coordination Centre and Canadian-based not-for-profit Trace Labs to convene a missing person capture the flag (CTF) challenge.

Participants in teams of up to four, or as individuals, will set about to discover information publicly available on the internet with the goal of aiding relevant state and territory police in their investigations for twelve long term missing person cases.

  • Due to the overwhelming response to the National Missing Persons Hackathon, we have sold out our initial allocation of 600 tickets. Any further allocations will occur through the wait list.
  • The event on 29 October will be live-streamed to the general public from 10am to 7pm, jam packed with engaging content such as presentations, interviews and chats with our sponsors and participants.
  • Please register to be notified of the broadcast link.
