Australia is rapidly building an innovative, globally competitive cyber security sector, capable of contributing to national economic growth and exporting scaled solutions internationally.
Sky’s the Limit presents an opportunity for small to medium Australian cyber security companies to pitch directly to ASX listed executives. These include executives from key Australian sectors including advanced manufacturing, health, consumer services, mining and financial services.
Ten companies deliver a short three-minute pitch, followed by Q&A with a ‘judging panel’ comprising executives and CISOs from ASX listed companies including:

CEO - CISO Lens
James Turner is the founder of CISO Lens, where he works with the security leaders from the largest organisations across Australia and New Zealand. James facilitates connections and collaboration, and helps share strategic information across organisations, industries and countries. Since 2005, James has specialised as a security industry analyst and advisor, gathering, curating and disseminating information that is of strategic importance to cyber risk management in enterprises. In 2018 James launched the CISO Lens Benchmark, an annual report providing independent, local, and current information for local technology and security executives. In 2017, when working as an Advisor at IBRS, James established the CIO Cyber and Risk Network. Now, as an emeritus Advisor at IBRS, James continues to chair the gatherings of this group. James also writes opinion pieces for the Australian Financial Review on national cyber security matters, and is an AustCyber AllStar.
Suzy Clarke
Executive GM of Security - Xero
Suzy is the Executive GM of Security at Xero, responsible for improving the technical security posture of the Xero business, customers and partners. She has worked in the technology sector for 21 years, both in England and New Zealand. She has held senior technology roles at organisations in multiple different industries over the last five years.
Christopher Neal
CISO - Ramsay Health
Christopher Neal is the Chief Information Security Officer at Ramsay Health Care Australia. His focus is helping both health care leaders and front-line staff understand the risks to patient data and safety in a connected world. Christopher has held a variety of delivery, consulting and operations roles across a number of industries in Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada over his 20+ years in security.
